The story behind TradeMax

Since we began business as a small, family-run trade outlet store in Dunedin back in 2007 we've seen new technology introduced, old tools redefined and competitors come and go.

We started out selling paint sundries. Early success meant we were able to reinvest in the business and grow our product range substantially. Now, after nearly a decade trading, we've grown to become a trusted provider to the decorative trade in New Zealand.

With warehouse and showroom facilities in Dunedin and Cromwell, and a traveling salesperson visiting Southland and North Otago, we are now major suppliers for some of the country's best known brands in paint, plaster, access equipment, wall coverings, spray units and general accessories.

We can do deliveries within the Dunedin area from out of our Dunedin showroom, and though to Queenstown, Wanaka and surrounding areas almost daily from our branch Cromwell.

We're fortunate to have a solid reputation in the local and international marketplace. This has allowed us to forge close ties with major suppliers and world-leading brands.

As a result we are often the exclusive New Zealand painting, plastering, access and safety equipment supplier of the latest and greatest technologies. These are sourced from companies whose aim fits ours – delivering products of the highest standard with the view to improving marketplace performance.
